Weekly Update 03/29/2010
- We will be meeting at the Yacht Club Tuesday (the 30th) around 3:30 to get the boats ready for spring season and put the masts up. If we have time we may be going sailing too.
- Since the new season is about to start up, everyone needs to pay their dues. The dues this quarter are $45 for social/rec members and $75 for racing members. If you could bring the money by Thursday, that would be great or next week at the latest.
- If you plan on racing this season, you need to either register or check your status with the MCSA. If you have questions, you can contact Anthony Julian.
- Also, since we are low on money we would like to have people pay their dues before they sail or attend a party if at all possible.

Sailing Club Intramural Fun!
The sailing team hockey team is being revitalized this quarter. However, the quarter there are tryouts. Talk to John if interested. I'm pretty sure we need to sign up real soon. (tomorrow morning)
Also, I want to start a sailing team tennis team. I used to play a lot of tennis and want to get back into it. Apparently, one can sign up independently and be placed on a team but it would be fun to have some friends. The sign-up starts tomorrow and goes all week. If you interested, call Chaz. The website doesn't say anything about level of skill but I presume you need your own equipment. (i.e racket)
Sailing Practice Update
Hey everyone. This is just a reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday the 30th) we will be putting up all the masts on the boats and getting them ready for the upcoming season. We will be meeting at the Yacht Club at 3:30 (71 E. Woodruff). There will probably be a later ride if you can't make it at 3:30. Hope to see you guys there!

Weekly Update 3/15/2010
- There will no meeting this week; we will meet up after spring break for an informational meeting
- The team will be putting up all the masts and getting the boats ready Tuesday March 30th at usual practice time (Meet at the Yacht Club at 330 to get a ride and late rides will leave after that)
- The first day of sailing will be Thursday April 1st
- Our first regatta will be that first weekend back at Miami U.
- Everyone should have received an email about joining our club's March Madness Bracket Group

Weekly Update 03/01/2010
- The General Meeting is in the same place and time as usual; Arps Hall Rm. 388 at 8pm on Thursday
- If you would like to order an OSU Sailing Team jacket, please bring a check to the meeting and give your order to Chaz
- At the meeting we will be finalizing our regatta party theme, so bring any party theme ideas to the meeting!
- We will also be finalizing our regatta committees, so if you would like to volunteer for something please sign up, we can always use more help.
- We have about $4000 saved up so far through all of our fund raising, which is really great because we are getting even closer to getting new boats!
- Last but not least, we will be getting some new merchandise soon, so look forward to hearing about that in the near future.
